As the excitement of back to school season builds each summer day, parents and kids alike will rush to their favorite local super center to pick up all the educational necessities, checking items off their list, one by one. Unfortunately, not all kids in the valley are afforded this luxury. The JP Griffin Group wanted to support the valley's foster youth in their preparation for back to school.
“We are so passionate about giving back to our community's youth, especially when it comes to helping with education.” said Jeff Griffin, Founder & President of the JP Griffin Group. “Back to school can be a fun time but also stressful, so we wanted to alleviate any stress and worry and make sure each and every child would be set up for success this school year.”
The JP Griffin Group, partnered a local group home that houses 12 girls ranging in age from 6 to 17. The JP Griffin Group employees came together to fundraise and gather school supplies to donate to the group home and ensure that every girl would have the necessary materials to tackle the school year head on. As a group, the JP Griffin Group strives to work together and make a difference in our community. Together, over $500 was raised to purchase backpacks and first day of school outfits, in addition to enough school supplies to cover every student's and teacher's classroom supplies list.
